Вышел из печати сборник «Стратегическое планирование в регионах и городах России: ресурсы для развития» / Доклады участников юбилейного Х Общероссийского форума лидеров стратегического планирования. Санкт-Петербург, 17–18 октября 2011 г. / под ред. Б. С. Жихаревича. — СПб.: Леонтьевский центр, 2012. — 152 с.
Публикация фиксирует состояние территориального стратегического планирования в России на конец 2011 г., отраженное в докладах участников юбилейного Х Общероссийского форума «Стратегическое планирование в регионах и городах России: ресурсы для развития». Рассмотрен опыт разработки и реализации стратегий и программ на уровне субъектов федерации и муниципальных образований. Затронуты такие темы, как инновации и экология, пространственное планирование, туризм и спорт в муниципальных стратегиях, развитие приморских территорий, теория и технология стратегирования, зарубежный опыт регионального развития. 20 декабря 2011 г. в Министерстве регионального развития Российской Федерации состоялось заключительное заседание Оргкомитета X Общероссийского форума «Стратегическое планирование в регионах и городах России: ресурсы для развития» (17-18 октября 2011 года).
На заседании подведены основные итоги работы Форума и определены направления подготовки Форума в 2012 году.
По решению Оргкомитета, следующий XI Форум состоится в Санкт-Петербурге 22-23 октября 2012 года.

19.10.2011 :: В Санкт-Петербурге состоялся Юбилейный X Общероссийский форум «Стратегическое планирование в регионах и городах России: ресурсы для развития»
17-18 октября в Санкт-Петербурге прошел Юбилейный X Общероссийский форум «Стратегическое планирование в регионах и городах России: ресурсы для развития», который собрал ведущих российских экспертов, представителей зарубежных организаций, российских государственных структур и органов власти для обсуждения вопросов стратегического планирования.
Организаторами юбилейного X Общероссийского форума уже в четвертый раз выступили: Министерство регионального развития Российской Федерации, Государственная Дума Российской Федерации, Министерство финансов Российской Федерации, Министерство экономического развития Российской Федерации, Правительство Санкт-Петербурга, Фонд «Центр стратегических разработок», МЦСЭИ «Леонтьевский центр».
На открытии Форума с приветственным словом к участникам обратился Губернатор Санкт-Петербурга Г.С. Полтавченко. В работе Форума приняли участие: зам. министра регионального развития Российской Федерации А.П. Викторов; зам. министра финансов РФ А.Л.Саватюгин, первый зам. председателя Комитета Государственной Думы по делам Федерации и региональной политике Г.С. Изотова; заместитель полномочного представителя Президента Российской Федерации в Дальневосточном федеральном округе А.Б. Левинталь; заместитель Губернатора Калужской области М.Л. Шерейкин; глава республики Ингушетия Ю.Б. Евкуров; директор Департамента стратегического управления (программ) и бюджетирования Министерства экономического развития Российской Федерации А.Е. Шадрин; мэр города Новосибирска В.Ф. Городецкий; зам. председателя Правления ОАО «Россельхозбанк А.В. Шашкин и многие другие.
На Форуме состоялось награждение победителей Общероссийского конкурса стратегий и программ социально-экономического развития среди субъектов Российской Федерации на тему «Регионы России: от кризиса к развитию», старт которому был дан 1 июня 2011г. Конкурс проводился уже в третий раз, собрав заявки на участие 37 субъектов Федерации и 14 муниципальных образований. Организаторами Конкурса выступили Государственная Дума РФ, Министерство регионального развития РФ, Министерство экономического развития РФ, Институт регионов.
В работе Форума, в рамках которого состоялось более 35 различных мероприятий, приняли участие более 1000 человек.

07.04.2011 :: Interview with Victor Basargin, Minister for Regional Development of the Russian Federation
Victor Basargin, Minister for Regional Development of the Russian Federation gave an interview to journal "Time Management" (N2, 2011), where he described the long-term development strategies of Russian regions, the Integrated Programme of housing and communal services reforming and modernizing, features of unified planning system.
Speaking about tenth anniversary Forum on Strategic Planning in Regions and Cities of Russia, Viktor Basargin noted that the program outlines the two main thematic lines. The first concerns with the anniversary of the Forum - it is supposed to evaluate in a ten-year retrospective of the successes and failures of strategic planning in order to draw lessons for the future - the leaders of territorial strategic planning will give master classes, presenting the experience of creating sustainable and effective planning systems. The second line is "Resources for Development", where the problems of finding new sources of development, increasing the impact of resources, increasing their quality in post-crisis compression of the resource base will be discussed.
