Management of RF Regions Innovation Development: Strategic Aspect

Summary

Government of the Russian Federation has approved the “Strategy for the Innovation Development of the Russian Federation Until 2020”, namely "Innovative Russia - 2020". The Strategy contains a range of requirements placed on the state territorial policy for its focus on stimulating innovation, and offers a number of mechanisms to stimulate innovation activities of regional authorities. Therefore, it seems relevant to discuss the territorial section of the Strategy and make proposals for further establishing an effective institutional framework for innovation development of the regions.
