Green Solutions and Sustainable Development Technologies of Regions and Cities: World Experience

Summary

"Green Reboot" of development strategies of regions and cities, international experience and best practices of ecodevelopment and landuse planning become the central themes of the roundtable, which is supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers Information Office in Saint Petersburg.
The Nordic countries are world recognized leaders of "green growth". Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, have different views on "green" economy, but the region as a whole shares the understanding of need to assure a sustainable growth in the future and demonstrates outstanding results in achieving high standards of living.
Along with the experience of Northern European municipalities, Projects of Transnational Cooperation in the Baltic Sea region, as well as the Initiative “Vancouver Green Capital of the World 2020” will be presented.
